Robots have been a thing of Hollywood films for long. Among the films which had Robots as central characters Steven Spielberg’s Artificial Intelligence is considered the best by World Science-fiction Forum. But director Shankar confidently says once his super star Endhiran is released even that will join the club of best films with Robots.
So what is the story of Endhiran? People who have been following each and every moment of the film’s progress have put together all the pieces and made a story. It is this. Rajni plays dual roles in Endhiran. One is a scientist and the other is a Robot. Scientist Rajni creates a Robot with artificial intelligence – like that of sixth sense in humans – to help human beings and to the development of the country. But its silicon heart falls in love with Aishwarya Rai. Writes romantic poems and the Robot behave just like a human being. Knowing about the extra ordinary intelligence of the Robot the villains try to get control of the Robot. Scientist Rajni fights to save the Robot falling into the hand of the enemies and destroys the evil forces using the Robot itself. Wow!!! We just cant wait any longer Shankar Sir!
Much awaited “Endhiran” audio released on 31st July and I went in the morning to a nearby music store and to my surprise there was a huge queue waiting to buy the CD. After a long hour’s wait, I finally got it and I was very nervous and anxious like one who was waiting to get his final exam result. Quickly I reached home and heard it in my pc and felt very happy and relieved as I if i have passed in “First class with distinction”. Additional Arrangements and Programming: Pravin Mani This is the theme song of the movie. I have never seen a music album of Rajini which has hi-tech lyrics for songs with trendy music. All songs are different and A.R.Rahman once again proved that he the best in Indian music. He has used both experienced and young singers to get his output and its been amazing. Eventhough i like all song my favourite one are "Kadal Anukkal" and "Puthiya Manidha" Now I am eagerly waiting to watch Endhiran in action probably on Sep 3rd 2010.
Endhiran Movie Preview Sun Pictures to Produce Superstar’s “ENDHIRAN”
Chennai, 17th Dec 2008... SUN TV Network Ltd One of India’s largest entertainment conglomerate today announced that it would be producing the movie titled “ENDHIRAN (The ROBOT)”. “ENDHIRAN” is India’s biggest project in terms of grandeur, splendor and Star Cast. It is Superstar Rajinikanth’s next live action movie.
This Multi crore project is to be directed by Shankar, Music is by AR Rahman and Aishwarya Rai stars along with Rajinikanth. The film will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and other languages by the end of next year.
Sun Pictures, the movie division of Sun TV Network Limited will be handling the production. This project promises to be the first of its kind in terms of CG (Computer Graphics), Special effects and Stunt Sequences. Top Notch technicians from Hollywood are being roped in for this movie making this project truly global.
Sun Pictures today officially announced the project with Superstar Rajinikanth, Mr.Shankar and Sun TV Network Limited’s Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Kalanithi Maran. Sun Pictures Chief Operating Officer Mr. W Hansraj Saxena and the cinematographer of the film Mr. Rathnavel were also present.
Mr. Kalanithi Maran said “This is a big moment for Sun Pictures as we feel this is going to be India’s biggest movie. We are very happy and proud to be associated with Superstar Rajinikanth, Shankar and A R Rahman. With this Sun Pictures shall scale greater heights internationally”. Mr. Shankar said: “I am proud to be associated with Sun Pictures and join hands with Mr. Kalanithi Maran, working with super star Rajinikanth is a
pleasure. Already there are high expectations for this project and by joining hands with Sun TV the hugeness of the movie will be further highlighted”
